Spray Exxon And The Last Of The True Southern Gentlemen

Walking into Spray Exxon at the Spray Traffic Circle here in Eden, North Carolina is like taking a walk back in time.

When you walk in you are always greeted with a friendly hello by Preston and Bo.

Being the true southern gentleman you will hear Preston saying can I help you ma'am and before you leave you will hear thank you ma'am and come back to see us.

Spray Exxon was opened in 1933 by Preston's father Joe Price and his uncle Bill Price.  After Preston finished his college years at Elon College in Elon, North Carolina he returned to Eden to help with the family business and has remained there to this day.  Preston has stayed true to his father and uncle's business philosophy and today in this area is the only full service along with self service station.

When you step up to the cash register Preston is always smiling and ready to talk with you about the days events while Bo sits patiently waiting for his usual rubs and treats from the customers.  Bo is known all around this area for his loyalty to Preston.

This is a business that we all hope will be around for many years to come because of the kindness of the owner Preston Price.
